hello! my name is ashli , &  i go by SHE/HER pronouns . i am 19 years old , &  i am from the east coast of the usa . this blog was originally established in june 2015 at SUFFERIST &  rebooted in july 2018 !  my discord is open to MUTUALS . please note that this blog is strictly based within season one through three &  i will not write anything past season three as i base my entire portrayal off of the preceding seasons. this blog is heavily based on plot , so it is unlikely that i will make starter calls . i am willing to write with ALL MUTUALS . if you'd like to discuss interaction between our muses , feel free to im me or add me on discord .

this is a LOW ACTIVITY independent writing blog for elena gilbert of the cw's ' the vampire diaries , ' developed by kevin williamson & julie plec . i have absolutely no affiliations with any creators associated with ' the vampire diaries ' , nor do i claim to be . i am not nina dobrev , nor am i associated with her in any way . i simply adore elena as a character , i love to delve into her many layers &  due to this i do deviate slightly from canon .

this blog is PRIVATE &  heavily selective - meaning i only write with

mutuals

. i am not trying to exclude anyone , but i do follow based on who i could see interactions with . however , i am willing to interact with BOTH canons &  original characters ! i am also open to ADAPTING elena to other characters' verses to suit interactions . all MUTUALS are welcome to write me starters or hop into my ask at all times . if i am following you , i 100% WANT to interact ! i do have a higher tendacy to NOT follow multimuse blogs , &  i will NOT take mains or exclusives from multimuse blogs . this is nothing but personal preference . if you do ignore my mutuals only rule , i will have to soft block you because this does make me uncomfortable as it has continually been occurring .

there will be DARK THEMES featured on this blog . if this is a foreseeable issue , please do not follow . all potential triggers will be tagged ACCORDINGLY . i do not write smut , but i am comfortable writing with everything that leads up to it . all threads will be written fade to black if this is to occur . we can 100% create headcanons &  discuss what happens - but we will not be writing it .

IV.

threads tend to be heavily PLOT CENTRIC . i am not interested in faltering interactions . i prefer to delve deep into character psyche &  focus on relationships . THAT BEING SAID , do not rush me on threads . i have a job &  life outside of writing . this blog is purely for enjoyment , so please do not infringe on this . by starting a thread with me , be aware that i reserve the right to reply at my own speed or drop if i lose muse .

i do not specifically stray away from following duplicates. i tend to follow back on a variety of reasons , one of the main ones being that i enjoy reading your posts , etc . i have a deep love for elena gilbert . so if i enjoy another mun's portrayal , of course i will follow . that being said , i am aware that there are MANY elena gilbert blogs . if you choose to follow &  interact with mine , i am very appreciative . i try my best to make my elena original , &  i love to delve deep into her psyche .
